Cloudberry is one of the most valuable treasures of Lapland's nature. This golden yellow berry grows in the clean bogs of the north, where the short summer and the light of the nightless nights give it its unique taste.

Cloudberry is a perennial plant that blooms in June and the ripe berries can be picked at the end of July. When ripe, the berries become golden yellow, soft, juicy, aromatic and very delicious. Cloudberry contains a lot of vitamin C.

Picking cloudberries is an old Finnish tradition. Each berry is picked by hand in the peace of nature - often far from roads and settlements. Cloudberry is more than a berry: it is a small piece of the Lapland wilderness and a memory of the northern summer.
